A few days into March I was perusing Mastodon and saw a post with 31 daily handwriting prompts. I’m an avid journaler already, though I don’t often journal from a prompt. This is something I’m really interested in doing more of.
I started on day two, so I did an intro post and goals for March in the same post. Then everyday, in the morning, after journaling, I did a prompt and shared on Mastodon with the #DailyHandwriting. The prompts were really fun, even the print practice ones, which brought out some creativity in other participants posts.
I had a really awesome time sharing and connecting with other folks taking part. It really felt like a little community. It was cool seeing other people lists some of the same desserts and seeing what other’s enjoyed for breakfasts! There was always a wide range of answers and creativity with each prompt and I enjoyed connecting with the writers, journalers, fountain pen folks of Mastodon annnnd my handwriting improved, just a little bit, I think. :)
