I know this is getting posted in October. The last week in September, I received a lovely package from Inky Converters. I recently purchased via her Etsy store. I picked up these cute 'Don't drink the ink' stickers which went promptly on my ink log journal and an ink bottle emoji washy tape roll. I'm really looking forward to using the washy tape in my journal to capture my moods.
I wanted to acknowledge that in the midst of the fountain pen drama with a certain shop, I'm proud to support those who stood up and stand up for the LGBTIA+ community. Many shops and fountain pen people put statements out on their Instagram pages, blogs, or forums. Some through their twitch streams. Many shops also gave out discount codes 'LoveisLove' as a way to show their solidarity to the community. As a relatively newcomer to the community I was proud seeing so many people stand up to hate to bigotry. I saw so many people hurting during this time. Seeing the whole experience unfold only solidified who I'll be supporting moving forward.
I also wanted to thank Inky Converters for their special note included in my package and they even threw in a super cute purple foil washy card, that I've really enjoyed using. I added some of my other washi tapes to it and tucked it into a pocket in my journal for easy access. It's been great, thank you so much! The card has made it way easier to make my washy portable in my journal!
