With all of the orange and green ink (and a blue I must have at all times) I’ve been using in my journal, it’s starting to feel like fall in there, except one thing. It’s now October, which is my favorite month out of the entire year, I realized that I didn’t have any fall or spooky season decorations. When I saw The Well-Appointed Desk released fall and macabre sticker sheets two weeks ago, I knew I HAD to purchase some! It was hard to not just get them all, but I did limit myself. I picked up the Peak Foliage, Halloween Icons, Mushroom Forager, Apothecary Arcanum, and Autumnal Avians. Okay so five sheets out of six. I also picked up Fall Florals, by AM Paper & Art Co. The Well-Appointed Desk sheets are on this lovely sturdy matte paper. The AM Paper & Art Co. sheets are on washi matte paper with what feels to me like an acetate paper backing to make them come through as clear. Really neat! I couldn’t wait to get into these and get them in my journal. I love the vintagey feel. Perferct for October and is such a lovely addition to my journal pages.
I also picked up a roll of washi tape that I’ve been eyeing for a while. The Mushroom washi from Shelley Couvillion of Book Moth Press. Also picked up from The Well-Appointed Desk. I love the smooth feel of the washi and that it’s black. Perfect to tie in the fall feeling of being in the forest for a hike. Just up my alley. And who doesn’t love mushrooms! Both the washi tape and sticker sheets are plenty sticky for journal pages. October and Fall journaling just got more fun!
